I had a gift certificate from last Christmas from my wife. I didn't have a chance to go until this September but WOW this was great. This is the next best thing to flying commercially, the instructor was very knowledgeable as he was himself a Pilot. I was able to take the plane on Taxi to the runway start and was able to take off by myself with my instructor beside me, that was great. Along the trip to Calgary, I was in control of the plane and there was no auto pitot. As we got closer to the Calgary International Airport with the help of my instructor, I was able to land the plane on the runway without any major mishaps, in fact I was told that it was a very smooth landing, this was great. I really wanted to be a pilot when I was in my teens but as it sometimes happens, life got in the way and I have no regrets but this was really a great experience and would do it again.
