Do you have a kid captivated by aviation?

One of our goals is to help grow young aviation enthusiasts by teaching aviation concepts and principles and applying those lessons in realistic simulators. Our Aviation Day Camps combine age-appropriate learning with instruction and fun.

Students learn the core basics of aviation while reinforcing math, science, and social skills, followed by hands-on simulator flying to apply what they’ve learned. All instruction is prepared by commercial pilots, with a professional pilot on hand to guide and inspire young learners.

It’s a fun, safe, and engaging environment to explore flight, navigation, aircraft, pilot careers, and much more.

No previous experience necessary. Exercises will be tailored to students age and capabilities.

Relating School Learning to Flight

Who says you can’t learn while having fun? Many of the knowledge and skills in aviation have their roots in STEM. Such areas as navigation, flight planning, airplane loading, aerodynamics and flight characteristics can all be traced back to science and physics. We structure our lessons in ways that are age appropriate while reinforcing aviation principles. We then apply those lessons in practical ways to reinforce and anchor their learning.

Course Curriculum

We offer many learning opportunities in our course curriculum focusing on the basics of aviation. Information and resources are pulled from Canadian aviation sources such as Transport Canada and various flight training resources. Information is split up into small chunks meant to support the learning toward the practical lesson at hand.

There are many aspects to be learned leading to successful application and skill building including phases of flight, speed and altitude control and airport procedures. Kids will also learn the basics of navigation, standard phraseology, introduction to meteorology, air law and much more all packaged in a gamified system designed to reinforce fun, teamwork skill development.

Our Facility

We have a 3200 square food facility CCTV monitoring. Access to and from our facility is easily monitored and controlled. Other amenities include 3 – F-18 Superhornet simulators, 2 – WWII VR/MS Flight Simulators as well as a full scale 737-800 simulator, 2 washrooms and a briefing room/classroom.

The safety of attendees is assured with controlled access, safety equipment and procedures in the event of an incident. We also carry the appropriate of liability insurance. Safety, respect and teamwork are some of our core values that we reinforce so that we can create a safe and fun educational environment.
